Sujet de recherche[ap_divider color= »#CCCCCC » style= »solid » thickness= »1px » width= »100% » mar_top= »20px » mar_bot= »20px »] Mes travaux de recherches concernent la télédétection des écosystèmes végétaux naturels tels la forêt et les milieux humides. Mon sujet privilégié est le développement d’outils d’analyse des données 3D du LiDAR terrestre dans le cadre des inventaires forestiers (le LiDAR est particulièrement bien adapté pour mesurer des paramètres autrement difficiles à obtenir). Je cherche d’ailleurs à améliorer la capacité de mesurer les couverts forestiers avec le LiDAR aéroporté et d’autres outils de télédétection comme les images satellitaires optique/infrarouge de toutes les résolutions spatiales. Je consacre finalement un certain temps sur des études portant sur des problématiques de conservation des écosystèmes et l’utilisation d’outils géomatiques pour la gestion par bassin versant.

Amélioration des méthodes de cartographie des attributs forestiers à l’aide des données LiDAR (terrestre, sur drone et aéroporté) et des images satellitaires
Cartographie, mesures et modélisation d’attributs structurels de la forêt et des arbres, tels que les attributs de la fibre de bois, l’indice de surface foliaire, la biomasse, le volume ligneux, le défilement des tiges, etc.
