Development of a method for characterizing soils saturated with agricultural environments using remote sensing Radar
This project aims to develop a method for estimating soil moisture profiles that will provide information on both surface and depth moisture conditions. We propose a working methodology using satellite data Radar SAR (synthetic aperture radar). It is based on the coupling between a soil model that predicts soil moisture at different depths and a backscatter model that links radar backscatter coefficients to surface parameters (soil moisture and roughness, vegetation).
